Commitment to your health at this unusual time
We are dedicated to the health and well-being of our patients and staff. The office is open, and we are seeing patients both in our office and via telemedicine.
Office Precautions
We are taking extensive precautions to protect your health and ours. Anyone who enters the office is required to wear a face mask. All exam room surfaces, including exam room tables, chairs, and desks, are disinfected between patients. Also, we are not using our waiting room at this time.
If you have an office appointment, please call when you arrive.
-We will notify you when to come into the office.
-Masks are required.
-We ask that you bring no more than one person with you to the office.
-Your temperature will be checked upon entering the office.
-You will be brought directly back to an exam room, and any paperwork can be completed there.
All new patient evaluations, and some follow-ups, are being performed in person.
Our office hours remain unchanged at this time, and Dr. Shenkman or a covering physician is available 24/7 if any urgent questions arise.
If you have fevers, cold or flu-like symptoms, and signs of respiratory illness such as coughing or shortness of breath, please do not come to our office. Instead, please contact your primary care provider or call your nearest urgent care location.
Telehealth Visits
Dr. Shenkman is conducting telehealth visits at this time to minimize your exposure. If you are due for a follow-up, do not delay your care on account of the pandemic! Most follow-up concerns can be dealt with via telemedicine, and if your concerns need to be addressed in person, you will be promptly scheduled for an in-office appointment.
Instructions for Telehealth Visits
-You need only a web browser on your computer or smartphone. You do not need to download anything.
